Record European win on a special night

Records were shattered on another special European night at Villa Park on Wednesday, as Aston Villa beat Fenerbahçe 6-0 in the UEFA Champions League.

Braces each from Nicolas Jackson and Ross Barkley in between goals from Johan Manzambi and Tammy Abraham saw Unai Emery’s men run riot at Villa Park.

The Matchday Two success saw the Villans pick up their biggest ever win in European competitions, to make it two triumphs from as many Champions League outings this season, taking them up to third in the league phase table.
