adidas Handball Spezial to launch

Aston Villa is delighted to announce the upcoming launch of the adidas Handball Spezial. 

The latest collaboration with adidas sees the classic Spezial trainers reinvented in navy with detailing in the club’s iconic colour palette.

The trainers are finished with the classic adidas stripes in claret and blue laces, and will be available online and in-store from 9am on Saturday (September 19).

Step into a timeless classic with the Handball Spezial shoes. Originally released in the 1970s, these shoes were designed for indoor sports and have now become a cherished staple.

They’re crafted with a supple suede upper, offering both comfort and style that seamlessly transitions from the court to the streets. With their rubber outsole, these shoes provide excellent traction and a vintage look that pays homage to their roots. 

Proudly rooted in the legacy of the 1970s icon, the Aston Villa Handball Spezial Shoes blend heritage design with modern flair for a fresh look and standout energy. 

Supporters can get your hands on the latest edition of Spezial from 9am on Saturday (September 19) – both online and from the Villa Stores at Villa Park and the Bullring.

The Handball Spezial is the perfect trainer to pair with our latest Aston Villa FC Originals range.

The collection comprises long and short sleeve jerseys, hoodies and track tops, sharing a similar colour palette to the Handball Spezial, and is currently available online and in-store.  

The Villa Park Store will be open between the times of 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday, while the Bullring Store will be open on Saturday between 9am-8pm and Sunday between 11am-5pm.
