George Hemmings joined Aston Villa from Nottingham Forest in January 2024, signing his first professional contract just three months later.

His first full season saw him play an integral role as Villa's Under-18s side claimed an unprecedented trophy trebls - lifting the FA Youth Cup and Under-18 Premier League South and National titles.

Hemmings signed a new long-term contract in May 2025, before continuing to progress in the club's academy, making four first-team appearances the following season.

The England Under-20 international was fully integrated into the first team by Unai Emery during the 2026/27 pre-season, starting in the UEFA Super Cup defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in Salzburg, before establishing his name in Villa's Premier League squad.
