Victor Lindelöf arrived at Aston Villa on Deadline Day in the summer of 2025. He helped the club to win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League in his debut season, before starting all four of Sweden's matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

An experienced and versatile central defender, Lindelöf had spent eight years at Manchester United before moving to B6, leaving the Red Devils upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The Sweden captain joined United from Portuguese side Benfica back in 2017, whom he moved to at the age of 17 having started his career in his hometown of Västerås.

A three-time Portuguese champion, Lindelöf lifted the FA Cup and League Cup with Manchester United over the course of his 284 appearances in all competitions.

He has been capped over 70 times by his country at senior level, playing at two World Cups and two European Championships.
