Kamilla Melgård arrived at Aston Villa in June 2026. The Norwegian midfielder joined Villa from Spanish side Madrid CFF after establishing herself as one of Norway’s brightest young talents.

The 20-year-old began her senior career in the top division of women’s football in Norway with Lyn Fotball Damer, making her senior debut at just 15 years old before going on to make more than 60 appearances in the Toppserien.

Her performances earned a move to Liga F with Madrid CFF in 2024, where she enjoyed an impressive debut season in Spain. Comfortable playing across midfield and in attacking areas, Melgård contributed four goals and seven assists in league competition.

On the international stage, she has represented Norway throughout the youth age groups and is a current Norway Under-23 international.
