Aston Villa signed Oriane Jean-François on a permanent deal in January 2026.

The midfielder arrived from reigning WSL Champions Chelsea where she had spent the previous 18 months.

Jean-François made 29 appearances for the Blues in addition to winning the domestic treble.

The 24-year-old has also represented Paris FC and Paris Saint-Germain prior to making the switch to England.

Jean-François scored her first goal as a Villan only a month after signing as she found the back of the net against Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park.

She was also voted Player of the Match in the side's 0-0 draw with Manchester City in B6.

The French international is also a regular starter for her country France, having most recently represented them at UEFA Euro 2022.
