Aston Villa announced the signing of Nigeria international Rofiat Imuran in August 2026.

The 22-year-old defender was Villa’s ninth addition of the summer window as Natalia Arroyo further strengthened her squad ahead of the 2026/27 season. 

The full-back began her senior career in France with Stade de Reims, making 27 league appearances and scoring seven goals across two seasons, before making the switch to English football with London City Lionesses in 2024. 

Imuran made her senior international debut for Nigeria in 2022 and was part of the Super Falcons squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
