Suzuki keeps a clean sheet for Japan

Zion Suzuki recorded a shutout for Japan on Thursday.

The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet versus Ecuador in a Kirin Cup clash in Tokyo.

The match against the South Americans ended 0-0 before heading to penalties.

And Suzuki continued to step up in the shootout, helping his country triumph 5-4.

The Villa No.1 dove to his left to keep out Ecuador's third spot kick as Japan netted all five of theirs.

It was Suzuki's 17th clean sheet in 30 caps for his nation.
