Victory in Seville

Aston Villa took on Sevilla in a friendly on Friday night as they warmed up for a return to competitive action.

Having fallen behind, goals from Ross Barkley, Alejandro Garnacho and Max Jenner secured a 3-1 victory at Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

Unai Emery, who was warmly welcomed back to his former club during a pre-match celebration, saw his side pick up the Antonio Puerta Trophy, an annual match held in memory of the La Liga side's former player.
