Another point before the break

Aston Villa played out a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace in the Women's Super League on Sunday in their final outing before the international break.

Full-back Noelle Maritz opened the scoring in the second half with her first goal for the club, before Abbie Larkin equalised from range for the visitors.

Maritz finessed into the far bottom corner after a superb run and chipped cross from Chasity Grant.

Though the home side were made to settle for a point as Larkin arrowed a low drive past Okuma with a quarter of an hour to go.
