Aston Villa were held to a 1-1 draw at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

Crystal Palace stayed resilient in the first half as Villa piled on the pressure, with no rewards.

The second half started brighter before Noelle Maritz got on the end of a Chasity Grant cross in the 55th minute.

There were plenty of opportunities to follow, but then Abbie Larkin struck from distance to secure the equaliser.

A few more chances followed but the full time whistle came ending the game with the points shared.
